CovaWound™ Foam Non-Adherent Foam Dressing is a non-adherent foam dressing with a two layer construction. NON-ADHERENT FOAM DRESSING

CovaWound™ Foam dressing may be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the amount of exudate and the condition of the wound. CovaWound™ Foam dressing should be changed when visible signs of exudate approach the edge of the dressing. The accumulative use of CovaWound™ Foam dressing should not exceed 30 days. CovaWound™ Foam does not adhere to the wound and, therefore, is recommended for wounds surrounded by sensitive skin including venous ulcers, the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as pressure, leg, diabetic and foot ulcers, superficial and partial thickness burns, donor sites, trauma wounds and post-operative surgical wounds. HIGHLY ABSORBENT POLYURETHANE FOAM Designed to absorb and retain exudate, while still maintaining a moist wound environment. HOW TO APPLY? 1. Clean the wound area with normal saline or distilled water.
2. Gently dry the surrounding skin and ensure that it is free of any residue.
3. Choose the size and shape of the dressing which is most suitable, the dressing should extend 2 cm beyond the wound margin.
4. Remove the dressing from the packaging.
5. Remove the release liner from the dressing and apply the white side of the non-adherent foam dressing to the wound.
6. A retention method such as taping onto intact skin or bandaging in place with an appropriate bandage or a film dressing is acceptable. NOTE: • As with any medical device, always refer to the full instructions for use prior to application.
